Product Description

A stock tank in a far paddock has no grid, no shade and no maintenance schedule — the pump runs when the sun is up and the cattle drink when it does. The DLXN-M10-150W is the workhorse for that duty: one module, one 12V or 24V pump controller, and 8.42A of short-circuit current that most agricultural drives accept without a parallel string.

Direct-drive electricals

Nameplate 150W, with Vmpp 18.79V, Impp 7.98A, Voc 21.8V and Isc 8.42A, tolerance 0/+3W. Thirty-three 182 mm cells deliver 17.0% efficiency in a 1360×580×30 mm frame at 10.1 kg. The 500 VDC system rating allows two units in series for a 24V-nominal pump that wants a wider MPPT window, and the 10A series fuse leaves a sensible margin over the 8.42A Isc. A single module at 5-6 peak sun hours returns roughly 700-800 Wh, typically 3,000-5,000 litres a day through a decent submersible at modest head. Sizing rule of thumb for open pasture: allow one 150W module per 1,000 litres of daily demand up to about 30 m of lift.

Field-durable build

Tempered 3.2 mm glass, anodized aluminium perimeter, IP67 junction box, front 5400 Pa / rear 2400 Pa rating. The -40 to +85°C range and 45.3°C NOCT are quoted for exposed pasture, where hail and livestock are more likely to damage a panel than wind. Coefficient figures: -0.41%/°C Pmax, -0.34%/°C Voc, +0.06%/°C Isc.

Fencing, lighting and beyond

The same module powers electric fence energizers, remote gate openers and cattle-shed lighting where a 12V bus already exists. Review the panel range for neighbouring ratings, or send head, flow and herd size and our team will return a pump-and-array recommendation.
