Product Description

Roof real estate on a camper van is measured in hand-spans between a vent hatch and a skylight, and the DLXN-M10-80W was dimensioned for that gap: 610×770×25 mm, weighing 5.5 kg. It is the panel you fit where a domestic 400W module would overhang the awning rail.

Twelve-volt friendly by design

Twenty-eight 182 mm cells put out 80W with Vmpp 16.53V, Impp 4.84A, Voc 19.12V and Isc 5.09A. The modest cell count is deliberate on a vehicle: open-circuit voltage stays low enough for a 100/20-class MPPT controller with margin, and thermal voltage rise on a hot roof never pushes past input limits. Module efficiency is 17.0%, the best in the small-format family, because fewer cells means less inactive border per watt. The 500 VDC system rating is academic on a van but relevant if you are stacking a portable array.

Road and weather exposure

3.2 mm tempered glass bonded into an anodized aluminium frame, white backsheet, IP67 junction box with potted leads — the combination that survives the vibration and thermal cycling of a vehicle that is driven, not parked. Rated to front 5400 Pa / rear 2400 Pa, operating from -40 to +85°C, NOCT 45.3°C. Coefficients are -0.41%/°C on power, -0.34%/°C on Voc, +0.06%/°C on Isc; on a black roof that costs a realistic 12-15% of peak on a July afternoon, so plan your battery bank around 68-70W of usable input rather than the full 80.

Fitting and buying

Flat-mount brackets, spoiler mounts and Z-brackets all work with the 25 mm frame depth; custom lead lengths suit roof glands. Compare ratings in the solar panel catalogue or ask us to check a roof layout drawing.
