Home Solar Kits: PV, Battery and Inverter Sized Together
Six configurations from 3.2 kW / 8 kWh to 10 kW / 20 kWh — two of them taken directly from issued customer quotations, four engineered on the same platform.
Complete kits
A kit is not a shopping list. It is a set of components whose voltages, currents, string lengths and charge rates have already been checked against each other, so the installer spends the day mounting and wiring rather than re-designing. Every configuration on this page ships with a bill of materials, a single-line diagram and a commissioning sheet.
The two smallest configurations come from quotations we issued to customers in 2026: 3.2 kW with 8 kWh and 6 kW with 10 kWh. The 5 kW, 8 kW and 10 kW variants are built on the same battery platform and the same 550 W module, which means spares, firmware and mounting hardware are common across the range.
Prices below are EXW ranges for the hardware only. The inverter is always quoted separately because it is the component that must match your grid, your generator and your future load. Installed pricing is local: freight, duty and labour are set by your installer, who issues the final number.

Indicative EXW ranges, excluding the inverter; final installed price is quoted by your local installer. Modules at USD 0.17-0.23/Wp, battery at USD 95-130/kWh.
How to choose
Pick by the evening load you need to carry, not by the size of your roof. The array decides how much you save by day; the battery decides how normal your evenings feel.
3.2 kW + 8 kWh
A fridge, lights, WiFi, fans and a TV through the night. 8-12 hours of a 400 W base load, and a borehole pump or washing machine by day.
5 kW + 10 kWh
A family home that also runs a 1.1 kW borehole pump and a washing machine in the daytime window. 19 hours of a 420 W evening load.
5 kW + 15 kWh
Two nights of autonomy, or one air conditioner at night. The choice for clinics, farms with a dairy cooler, and anyone who has run out of battery at 02:00.
6 kW + 10 kWh
A trading shop with two split air conditioners and a display fridge by day, refrigeration and lights after closing.
8 kW + 16 kWh
A large house or workshop: two air conditioners plus a 2.2 kW borehole pump, and surge capacity for a welder or table saw.
10 kW + 20 kWh
A guesthouse, restaurant or clinic run as a microgrid — up to about 25 kWh a day with no utility at all.
What every kit includes, without exception
- ✓A bill of materials with model numbers, quantities and the DC string layout, checked against the inverter MPPT window at your site temperature.
- ✓A single-line diagram for the AC board, including grid, generator and battery breakers, so a local inspector can sign it off.
- ✓A commissioning sheet with the charge current, export limit and BMS protocol already filled in for the battery you ordered.
- ✓A mounting wind rating stated per order, because the anchor specification changes with the roof type and the local wind load.
- ✓Spare MC4 connectors, a spare fuse set and the label set for the distribution board.
Sized for three markets
The yield tables on each kit page use 5.5 kWh/m2/day for South Africa, 5.0 for Nigeria and 4.5 for the Philippines, with a 0.75 system efficiency factor. That factor bundles inverter conversion, cable losses, soiling and temperature derating, so the numbers you see are what the array delivers at the inverter output, not at the module terminals.
Questions we get before ordering
Are these kits complete, or do I still need to buy parts?
Complete for the DC and AC side: modules, rails, clamps, DC combiner with surge protection, battery with breaker, distribution board with RCD, cabling and the monitoring dongle. You supply the mounting surface, the trench or conduit if the run is underground, and the labour. The inverter is quoted separately but shipped with the kit.
Can I mix a kit with hardware I already own?
Usually yes for the battery, provided your inverter is a 48 V hybrid with CAN or RS485 BMS communication and at least 100 A of charge current. Mixing modules of different wattages on one MPPT is possible but costs yield — keep strings identical and use a second tracker for the older panels.
Do you ship one kit, or is there a minimum order?
One kit ships as a single pallet, roughly 1.2-2.4 m3 depending on the array size, and there is no minimum order. Mixed containers are common: two or three kits plus a batch of batteries is a normal first order.
What is the lead time?
Stock configurations ship in 15-20 days ex-works; a custom string layout or a three-phase inverter adds about a week. Sea freight to Durban, Lagos or Manila is typically 28-40 days on top of that.
Not sure which size fits?
Send us the appliances you run, the hours you run them and the port you ship to. We will come back with one recommended kit and the reason the others are wrong for you.
